Guest Info

It is our earnest desire to try and help each of our guests feel welcome when they enter the doors of our building.  Whether passing through the area, visiting family and/or friends, or visiting to “kick the tires” a bit and check out First Christian Church as a potential church home, we want you to feel blessed and at home the minute you walk in the door.  To that end, our Greeters will offer you a warm welcome the moment you arrive.

We offer a “contemporary” musical style of praise and worship.  You will not be asked to wear a name tag or stand up in front of total strangers and announce your presence.  We simply would like you to feel at home.

What follows is some basic information designed to help you know what to expect when you visit…

Our Fall Worship Schedule
Bible School for all ages: 9:15 am ~ Worship Gathering & Children’s Church 10:30 ~ Coffee Hour after the Worship Gathering
Wardrobe Suggestions
Please feel free to leave the tie and uncomfortable shoes at home – you won’t find much of either when you visit!  As a congregation we dress casually.  So, “comfortable attire” is your guideline!
Celebration of the Lord’s Supper (Communion)
Each week, following the morning message time, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.  You do not need to be a member of FCC to participate.  We invite any and all who have professed their faith in Jesus Christ and claim him as their Lord and Savior, Rescuer and Leader to share in this special time of worship and remembrance.
Worship through Tithes and Offerings
Also, each week, we take time to worship together through the giving of our tithes and offerings before God.  As a guest, while you are welcome to share in this time, please know that you are under no obligation to do so,
your presence with us is a gift in itself and we are thankful for you worshiping with us!
Nursery Care
Newborns through five years of age are invited (but not required) to take advantage of our clean, cheerful nursery.  A qualified attendant (or two) is present to care for children from the beginning of the Bible school hour until the end of the Worship Gathering.
Children’s Church
Each Sunday we provide an opportunity for children Kindergarten through Fifth Grade to participate in our Children’s Church Ministry.  This ministry offers a fun, creative and safe environment for our children to experience God’s love and grow in their faith.  Just before the Message Time, children are invited to leave the Worship Center together to attend Children’s Church.
Feel free to park in either of our two parking lots.  One is on W. Highland Ave., in front of the church building and the other can be found behind the building, reached by driving south on S.W. 7th Place.
Clean, modern restrooms are located to the right as you enter the front of the building via the covered entry way, as well as down the main hallway just past the drinking fountain on your right.
